DPS Students Visit NASA

16 students of DPS Udaipur returned to Udaipur after completing their 12 days educational tour from 28th October to 8th November to NASA, and the cities of New York, Orlando, Washington D.C. with the Principal, Neeru Tandon.

 

DPS Students Visit NASA16 students of DPS Udaipur returned to Udaipur after completing their 12 days educational tour from 28th October to 8th November to NASA, and the cities of New York, Orlando, Washington D.C. with the Principal, Neeru Tandon.

The tour started from Washington where they visited historical buildings. The next day they reached Orlando and visited the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Supreme Court, Air and Space Museum, World War II Memorial etc.

Then the group moved to Kennedy Space Centre (NASA Camp) where they stayed for four days and participated in various activities.

Jayvrath Champawat stood first in Designing and Launching of Rocket while Wagarth Bhatt, Rudraksh Jain, Rudraksh Mehta and Narayan Kabra stood first in Parachute Designing and Aman veer Ahuja, Rachit Doshi and Danish Arora stood second in Bridge Making.

These students were felicitated by the NASA Officials and they received certificate and memento from them.

The students also met an astronaut John Make Brida. After that they reached Apcoat Centre and saw technical programmes of future.

On the next day they enjoyed Boat Ride at Niagara Falls and then went for sightseeing in New York.

The group went to 86th storey of the Empire Building and also visited Times Square, Rock Feller Centre, St. Pedrix Cathederal, Alice Island, Little Italy and China Town. Chocolate Factory attracted their major attention. They enjoyed busting crackers in Orlando on the occasion of Diwali.
