VII Foundation Day of Delhi Public school, Udaipur was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at school premises today. The programme was based on the theme ‘Seven’ as it is the VII Foundation Day of the school. The Chief Guest of the event was Mani Agarwal.

The programme started with lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome speech by the principal, Neeru Tandon. The vibrant steps of the prayer dance to please Lord Shiva attracted a big round of applause from the spectators.

On this occasion, toppers from classes IV to XII were honoured with a trophy and a certificate. In addition to this, students with full attendance were also felicitated; two teachers were also honoured for 100% attendance.

The song presented the seven chords of music and Rainbow Dance perfectly put forth the theme ‘7’. The magical number denotes the totality of the creation and so, stepping into the 7^th year, DPS Udaipur promised to achieve great heights in the field of imparting education.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal, Yogesh Jain and compering was done by Aneesh & Kanishka of class VII.
