World today is very different to what it was before. People move around and learn from other cultures. The mindset is changing and new, bright ideas from other countries are being implemented.
With the increase in global awareness of the world’s citizens it is important to exchange ideas. Teacher exchange programs serve as a cultural learning experience for teachers and as a means for expanding and enriching an educator’s pedagogical expertise.

It is important to widen perspectives and think outside of the box when it comes to teaching and learning and therefore, this program is something The Junior Study and Gors Community School see as a valuable resource.
This year the visitors from the Gors Community School were the Head Master of the school MBE Keith Atkins, International Coordinator Marion Jones, Doctor Kelvin Broad and Ann Chapman.
The day started with a welcoming function with garlanding, singing and a beautiful dance. Keith Atkins also distributed prizes to well-performing students. The visit will last for a week with teachers teaching different classes, gaining useful information and ideas from each other and also a field trip to a marble processing unit.
