Arora Progressive Group (APG)which has been set up to promote academic excellence among the students of the Rajasthani Arora Community organized  Essay Writing and Quiz on 6^th January 2013 in the afternoon from 2:30 pm onward.

The Essay Competition was organized in four groups for the students of classes I to XII. Two topics were given in each category and the participants attempted on the topic of their choice in either of the language, Hindi or English. Total 35 participants expressed their views on the given topic.

Ms. Monika Jain, Assistant Professor, English at Aravalli Engineering College was the judge for the Essay Writing Competition. Jatin Arora remained first in category A while Sanyam Arora stood second. In category B Jay Arora and Saloni Arora bagged the first and second positions respectively. In category C Kshitiz Arora remained first followed by Tanya Arora at the runner up position. In category D Sneha Arora and Harshita Arora stood first and second respectively.

After refreshment, Quiz was conducted for the students of classes VII to XII while the students from classes I to V was given MCQ Pen Paper Test. In the Quiz four teams were selected after the selection round to play the next rounds.

Charvi Arora and Aishwarya Arora of Team C emerged victorious after the four rounds of questioning.

All the winners were felicitated and consolation prizes were given to all the participants up to class VIII to motivate them. Members from the audience were also awarded for the right answers.
