In an All India Open FIDE Rating Chess Competition organized by Anand Chess Association, Gujarat, Arun Kataria received a trophy and Prakhar Pathak grabbed a medal in under-9 category.

Instructor Vikas Sahu informed that in the chess competition held in Ahmedabad from 26th to 30th November, after 9 rounds, Vaibhav Pamecha, Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat and Arun Kataria gained 5 points.

Vansh Bhaskar Singh (4.5), Prakhar Pathak (4), Mudit Kukreti (3.5), Kushagra Chittora (3.5) and Pratham Rathore (2) gave excellent performances. Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat increased his points by playing well in the competition.
