Heritage Girls School defeated Maharana Mewar Public School , and zoomed into the Finals. In a wonderfully concluded finale between Heritage Girls School and St. Anthony’s, The Heritage Challenge Rolling trophy was lifted by “Heritage Girls School” by 142 runs and St. Anthony’s was declared the runner-up

Spectators brought the house down to a thrilling finale of the Heritage Challenge Inter-School Women’s Cricket Tournament held over the weekend at the Heritage Girls School Cricket Ground. It was for the first time that such a girls-only tournament was being organised in the City of Lakes by the Heritage Girls School, in association with The Sports Gurukul. With around 6 U-16 teams participating, the Semi -Finals was a stiffly contested one. Heritage Girls School defeated Maharana Mewar Public School , and zoomed into the Finals. In a wonderfully concluded finale between Heritage Girls School and St. Anthony’s, The Heritage Challenge Rolling trophy was lifted by “Heritage Girls School” by 142 runs and St. Anthony’s was declared the runner-up.

First Inter-school Women’s Cricket Tournament- Heritage win the finals Manoj Choudhary gave the certificates to players. Riza Sheikh, captain of St. Anthony’s was declared as the Woman of the series.  Speaking at the closing Manoj Choudhary, Chief Coach at Wonder Cricket Academy congratulated all teams & declared the tournament closed.  Anvi Jain, captain Heritage Girls School made 55 runs.

At the tournament Gaurav Mehta, Zonal head of The Sports Gurukul shared “These types of tournaments for girls will help and boost the interest of individuals at different levels in sports.”
