The life of students is replete with struggles and competition. Crucial time is when they are done with their 10th Boards and making up their minds to choose that one subject which is going to brighten their future and make their career promising.

The doubts,confusions and dilemma of students were cleared when banker turned entrepreneur Akhtar interacted with the curious XI and XII class students of The Universal Sr.sec.School in a career counselling programme.

Akhtar focussed on the key factors that determines the career of the students.He highlighted that interest of the children plays a pivotal role in framing their future. Citing the examples of various Indian personalities, Akhtar urged the students to be work hard and be loyal and committed not only towards their studies but also towards their school and teachers.

He pointed out that there is no substitute for studies in school. Coaching centres are mushrooming at a fast pace but students must be wise enough to realise the importance of school and the care and concern that teachers have for them.

Akhtar also discussed various career options that one can opt for in this era of competition. He suggested that the students take decision based on their natural interest and not to emulate or follow the trend/crowd as they will reach their goal only when they love what they do.

The programme lasted for about two hours.It was conducted in the assembly hall in the presence of the Director of the school Monika Singhatwadia, Tausif Hussain(Commerce faculty), Anjali Bhatnagar(Sr.Hindi Teacher), Shameem Q.(Sr.English teacher) and the coordinator Bhuvnesh.
