Central Public School (CPS) has celebrated Grand Parents Day at their school premises. Both grandparents and children enjoyed the event consisted of creativity showcase, magic box, games of musical chair and lastly feedback by grandparents participating in the events. 

The program started at 10 in the morning. Students of pre-nursery and nursery were completely in the state of surprise to see their grandparents in the school.

According to Alka Sharma, Director of CPS, Grandparents Day was introduced in school to instill the value of grandparents in child’s life.

Since the change in lifestyle, joint families are now less preferred and children are too busy with either loads of books or television. These factors persuade distance between a child and his/her grandparents.

A get together like this will definitely cheer the relation!
