Van Mahotsav, a week-long festival of tree plantation is organized every year in the first week of July across India.

In an earnest attempt to sensitize the students about their role in conserving it, Seedling Modern Public School created an online competition on Van Mahotsav.

The focus of the event was towards forming a personal connect between the students and trees through a process of experience, reflection and creation, carried out through an interesting activity.

Many students of class V & VI enthusiastically dressed up as a gift of nature like peacock, rabbit, parrot, tree, flower etc tried to convey a message to preserve the gift of nature and got themselves photographed. In this best dressed up were selected for 1st ,2nd and 3rd position.

These were the results of the event:

• The first prize was bagged by Khush Kothari of class V-A.
• The second prize was shared between Palak Kriplani of class V-A and Aarav Rajpal of class V-A
• Third prize was shared between Akshat Gangwar of class VI-B and Manit Choudhary of class V-A
• Avachal Singh Chhabra of class VI-A was given a consolation prize

Students got to learn a lot and will always cherish the memories of this important occasion.
