A counseling session was held at WIS on 7th November 2015, to make the students aware about issues which are the need of the hour to the youngsters who are about to embark on there journey to the outside world.

The main purpose of this session was to educate the students about the problems faced by them during adolescence which is very essential in today’s life. Dr. Manjinder Kaur, a famous Gynecologist and Dr.Sachin Arora, a renowned physiatrist from Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital not only talked about building self confidence in a child but also discussed various methods to cope with their problems.

The session was held in the audio- visual room. The esteemed doctors covered  the sensitive issues like the physical changes, emotional changes and peer pressure. This was followed by a question answer session in which the students freely shared their experiences and the problems faced by them as teenagers. At the end the guests were presented memento by the Principal Shubha Govil.
