Inter DPS Vocal Music Festival was organized at DPS Udaipur on 27^th October 2014. 10 teams from different Delhi Public Schools of the west zone participated, including the host team. The theme for the solo song competition was ‘Childhood’ and group songs were presented on the theme ‘Depicting the Purpose of Human Life’.

Deepak Agrawal, Member of Management welcomed the chief guest, judges, dignitaries, parents and all the participating teams. The chief guest of the event was Mrs. Maroo and Mrs. & Mr. Arvind Dave, Chairman, DPS Udaipur. The teams were judged by experts from the field of music, Nidhi Parikh Jaanve and Faiyyaz Khan Sahib.

All the teams echoed the premises with their melodious verses which mesmerized the audience. It was tough for the judges to evaluate the participants.  The chief guest appreciated the efforts of all the teams and said such programmes should be promoted for the overall growth and development of students.

Results were announced later, where first position in Solo Song Competition was bagged by DPS Bhopal, DPS Indore was on second position and DPS Udaipur was I and II Runners up. In Group Song category, DPS Indore stood first followed by DPS Jaipur and DPS Udaipur. The first and second position holders will participate at the National Level.
