Central Public Sr. Sec. School in collaboration with Mewar Sahodaya Complex organized Inter-School Basketball Competition in which 10 schools of CBSE participated.

The event was inaugurated by Director Alka Sharma by hoisting the flag. The chief guest of the function was President of the Mewar Sahodaya Complex Sanjay Dutta.

Played as league-cum-knock out game in four groups, the first match was played between CPS and Alok School in which the former won by 42-2. In the second match, MMPS defeated Central Academy, sector 3 with 20-11 points. In the third match between MDS and DPS, the scores were 20 and 35 respectively.

In the inaugural function, the main guests were Principal of MMPS Sanjay Dutta, Principal of Rockwoods High School Geeta Nayar, Vice Principal of CPS Dheera Samar, Director of MDS Shailendra Somani, Alok School’s Shashank Tak, Head Mistress of MMVM Jhumru Gehlot, Vice Principal of MMPS Manju Chauhan and others.

Basketball coach of the school Prem Shanker Jatav informed that in the morning session on Sunday, the matches will be played between Rockwoods High School & Seedling Modern Public School (1^st match), Alok School & St. Matthews (2^nd match) and Seedling Modern School & St. Anthony School (3^rd match).

In the evening session, Rockwoods High School & St Anthony School and CPS & St. Matthews will play the matches.
