Distinguishing between Common Nouns and Proper Nouns can be confusing in the beginning; therefore starting off with basic clarification through activities is helpful.

To meet the purpose, the Wittians of Grade –I participated in the Postcard Writing Activity. Students used capital letters to write the special names. While writing the letter to their friends, students not only enjoyed the activity but also learnt the concept.
