The annual junior sports day at St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School concluded with prize distribution ceremony today. Students from class nursery to IV enthusiastically took part in different sports activities.

Vikas Sahu, media coordinator informed that the winners were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. The chief guests of the event were Dr. K.C Jain (senior professor and HoD Medicine at GITS), Devnarayan Dhabai, Rajkumar Menaria, Sourabh Chouhan, Chandrapal Singh Chundawat and Ayushi Boliya.

Students took part in around 204 different types of races, P.T, dance etc. Total 612 medals were won by students.

Students awarded with cash prizes were: Kaushik Jain, Rs. 5001 (Handball), Abhishek Chandel, Rs.3001 (Cricket) and Vibhav Pamecha, Rs.3001 (Chess). Players who performed in district and state level sports were honored with medals and certificates.
