Students of The Junior Study celebrated Rakshabandhan in the school today. Girls wearing traditional attire and taking the puja thali, did the ceremony and tied rakhi to the boys’ wrists. This displayed the loving and teasing brother-sister relationship.

After this children narrated the importance of the festival and described why Raksha bandhan is celebrated. They also performed a skit which left the audience mesmerized. They recited poems and gave speeches based on the auspicious occasion of Raksha bandhan.

At the end of the celebration, children displayed Rakhis made by them. Each kid made different pattern and chose various colors.
