The Study Senior Secondary School welcomed the delegates of Secure Meters who represented the social initiative Khoj to bring Science alive and make it exciting by engaging with various activities in a hands-on manner.

The Khoj team works with young children and shows them how exciting and relevant science is. “Bringing Science Alive in Young Minds” With this Moto Khoj aims to bring the fun back into science, and show children that learning is found everywhere in their day-to-day life.

The team spent whole day at The Study school campus and brought with them a number of interactive and interesting experiments for the children.

The students were shown science experiments in an interactive way, making it easier to understand concepts like leverage, gravity, balancing etc., away from books, formulae and rules, which is essential to success and understanding of young minds. Sixth to ninth grade students of The Study were part of the cool activity.

Employees from Secure Meters brought experiments like ‘Cone rolls uphill’, ‘Balancing the load’, ‘Periscope’, ‘Magnetic levitation’, ‘Nail balancing’ and ‘Viscosity’, and acted as facilitators as the children discovered the concepts hidden in the experiments. They got the students engaged with science in a completely different way, and each child was pushed and inspired individually.
