The Junior Study children had a special treat today as they got to enjoy a magic show presented by Mr Joerg Alexander who came all the way from Germany to give this show. The children saw card tricks, disappearing money, ring-and-rope, the gypsy thread etc. The excellent magician even made real money out of white paper.

Mr Joerg Alexander became interested in the art of magic at the age of nine. His fascination quickly turned into a burning passion that led to an intense study of this rare art form. In 1979, when he was only sixteen years old, he entered his first magic competition and immediately won the first price. Many other awards at national and international competitions of magic were to follow.

Although he has earned a masters degree in electronic engineering, he decided not to pursue this career and in 1994 he turned magic into his full time profession. He mostly works in Germany, but has been giving performances all over the world. Amongst other countries he has been to are England, Argentina, the United States of America, China, and of course India.
