JNV, Dungarpur is celeberating “Math Week” as suggested by CBSE and NVS. After essay competition and inter house quiz, yesterday was the day for lectures by students and teachers on innovations in mathematics.

Several students including Rituraj, Kapil and Anchal shared their views. Among teachers P.Nema, R. Paliwal , S.K.Jha and A. Hamid shared their experiences. Emphasis was on correlation of the subject contents taught in class with real life situations and enabling proper visualization of concepts by using audio- visual aids.

In afternoon educational videos by Vigyan Prasar named ‘Humare Khagoliya Padosi’ were screened in multipurpose hall for the students after brief introduction about Ramanujan’s life through a video.

It was a mesmerizing experience for students aged 11-18 to know about our solar system.
