A four days Zonal Enrichment Programme for the Math teachers of Delhi Public Schools of West Zone was conducted from 4 Jan to 7 Jan 2016 at Delhi Public School, Udaipur in the presence of Anupal Sagar, Joint Director, HRDC from the Delhi Public School Society.

A four days Zonal Enrichment Programme for the Math teachers of Delhi Public Schools of West Zone was conducted from 4 Jan to 7 Jan 2016 at Delhi Public School, Udaipur in the presence of Anupal Sagar, Joint Director, HRDC from the Delhi Public School Society. The Pro Vice-chairman of the school, Govind Agrawal and Member Management, Apoorva Agrawal were present for the inauguration ceremony on 4th morning.

The programme moved on with six sessions in a day to discuss innovative practices to make more interesting and lively in the classes especially for the students of classes VI to X. A skit was also presented by the students of DPS, Udaipur to show that concepts of Math can be easily taught in this manner.

The participants were divided into groups and a topic was given to the each group for presentation on the last day of the workshop.

During the workshop sessions were conducted on Vedic Mathematics, Teaching of Geometry, Algebra and Trignometry, how to deal with Mathophobia and other related topics.

Prof. S.N. Chibber talked about paper designing techniques on the second day of the workshop. This session was followed by an interview with IIT-JEE 2014 topper, Chitrang Murdia. The Joint Director, Anupal Sagar suggested various ways to improve Math teaching in classes after the presentations were made by different groups on the last day of the workshop.

The Valedictory session was organized on 7 Jan 2016 in which all the participating teachers were felicitated with a memento and a certificate. The Principal of the host school, Neeru Tandon proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the Enrichment Programme.
