MDS Sr. Sec. School declared its Chess team today for the CBSE West Zone Championship to be held at Academic Heights Public School, Raipur, Chattisgarh.

Physical Trainer Vastsalya Yadav informed that this tournament will be​​ held under two categories, Under-14 and Under-19​ from 9^th to 11^th October, 2014. Team members Ayush Lodha, Prabhav Maheshwari, Saket Agrawal, Udlakshya Raina, Kanishk Pandey (in Under-14) and Manasven Raina, Aakansha Mehta, Sandeep Mehta, Deshna Doshi (in Under-19) are led by Samraddhi Mehra (Captain).

Director of MDS, Dr. Shailendra Somani, Principal Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari and Vice Priincipal Ms. Jaya Verma congratulated the selected players and wished them to do the best for Team MDS and city of Udaipur. Team will depart on 6^th October and will return back on 12^th October, 2014
