MDS Hosts Science Exhibition – “Lets be smart to Make Smart”
“How to make Udaipur a Smart Udaipur” was the theme of Annual Science exhibition which was held at MDS Public School today.
“How to make Udaipur a Smart Udaipur” was the theme of Annual Science exhibition which was held at MDS Public School today. Science Exhibition at MDS is organised every year with a view to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper among students with a specific theme and this year nothing better than Smart City was the idea excelled by MDSians with joy and thrust.
Class 9th and 10th students hosted the event with the event coordinator Ms. Purnima Jain. Students made working models and charts those were useful for Udaipur to be smart city and sustainable in protecting health and environment.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Pradeep Chandaramani (a well known mediator) along with Dr Ramesh Chandra Somani, Founder Trustee of MDS and Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director of MDS. Two pass-out MDSians, currently studying in IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, Yash Gupta and Sachin Goyal were the also present as special guests and guided the students wonderfully well.
Yash and Sachin along with other guests and MDS management body were praising the efforts of students specially working Model of Hovercraft, Generating electricity through leaves, Smart parking system in City, Smart Street Electricity System, Smart City cleaning System, Smart City Security alarm, Effect of smoking and air pollution in city, Solenoid engine, Power management through USB, Nuclear power plant, Thermal power plant, Biogas plant, Krawny tanker to Clean City, HTC model, Natural resource, Unique pollution control system for Smart City, Human brain model, Heart model, Hologram solar system and many more.
Yash Gupta and Sachin Goyal even categorically commented that few of the projects made can really compete at IIT First Year level which was a booster for the 9-10 class students.
In last, Dr. Shailendra Somani (director), Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari (principal) appreciated and congratulated the students and teacher incharge Ms Poornima Jain for successful event, and wished them luck for future.
