The 68th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Pratap Nagar and sector 3 campuses of MDS Sr. Sec. School.

Pratap Nagar

The chief guests of the program were Freedom Fighter Sujan Mal Jain, President Secretary and Member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Renowned educationist and National Head of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Dr. R.C. Somani and. Pushpa Somani, founders of MDS School.

The students gave heartwarming performances including patriotic song, poem and speeches in English and Hindi.

Honourable guest and Vice Principal Jaya Verma emphasized on the importance of this day in the address to students and motivated them to achieve goals in the same way with as much dedication and enthusiasm as per freedom fighters.

Sector 3

The Chief Guest Shri Murlidhar Gattani, a renowned educationist Shakuntala Maheshwari, Members of Sanjeevani Senior Citizen Society, Hiran Magri President Ramesh Prakash Maheshwari, Vice President Vimal Chand Paliwal, Secretary Parasmal Kothari and Mr. Mandowara .

The Program progressed with a motivating speech by Swareena Jain, solo song by Arushi Singhvi, Poem recital by Nehal Jain of class XII and patriotic song by MDS School choir.

The Chief Guest shared his views and emphasized on the importance of the day and why one should always respect his nation.

On this occasion the meritorious Students Rounak Surana and Shefali Gour were awarded with Bhamashah Award that motivated other students to study hard. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari, Principal of MDS. The function ended with the distribution of sweets to students.
