MDS School Team to participate in National Robotics at IIT Delhi
A three day workshop on ‘Quad-Copter and Micro Controllers’ concluded at MDS Sr. Sec. School today. The workshop was organized by the joint efforts of IIT Delhi and MDS School.
A three day workshop on ‘Quad-Copter and Micro Controllers’ concluded at MDS Sr. Sec. School today. The workshop was organized by the joint efforts of IIT Delhi and MDS School.
Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS informed that, “Students learnt a lot about Robotics, its future, application of Robotics and Hardware, engineering and its underlying concepts.”
Such workshops were also organized in past years, under joint efforts with IIT Mumbai where students of MDS also won positions in International Robotics Olympiad held at IIT Mumbai.
Dr. Nighi Maheshwari, Principal, informed that, “As the end project in the workshop, students built robots based on C language which were able to navigate and traverse through paths.”
In the same, Group Technologics grabbed the first position, Group Dead Evil were second, The Griffins were third and The Apaches and RC Rangers won fourth and fifth position respectively.
All the winning teams will participate in National Championship at IIT Delhi from 27th Feb to 3rd March this year.

Dead Evil – Priyal Dharmawat, Hitanshi Paliwal, Anushka Paliwal, Priyansh Sarupriya
The Griffins – Faiz Fateh, Azhar Ali Khaakad, Khushagra Nalvaya, Kashyap Nepaliya
The Apaches – Pallavraj Chauhan, Advet Mishra, Yudhveer Singh
RC Rangers – Bhavya Kumar Jain, Hussaini Bohra, Maulik Bhardwaj, Soumitra Pandya.
