MDS Students Becomes Quiz Champions

Students of MDS Sr. Sec. School, Pratap Nagar emerged as the City-level winners in the Bournvita quiz competition 2014.
The competition was conducted by the Derek O’Brien and Associates, Kolkata where teams from 16 prestigious schools participated in the Quiz contest out of which six teams of MDS Sr Sec School, St Anthony, St Marys, St Teresa, MMPS and St Gregorius were selected for the final round.
According to Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari, Principal, MDS Sr Sec School, who recently won the Best District Principal award from Science Olympiad Foundation, the questions in final round were fired from history, political science, current affairs of India and abroad but MDS Team stood the best out of the 6 and came out to be the winners of the prestigious Bournvita Quiz Contest at Udaipur level.
The team of students including Arpit Maheshwari (VIII Std.) and Kaustubh Mane (VIII Std.) got a Trophy and Certificates and were felicitated by Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS Sr. Sec. School.
It is well to be noted that the Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Contest is an Indian quiz contest that began on April 12, 1972 and Sponsored by Cadbury India, it is one of India’s most famous quiz contests of India.
