Keeping the school flag high 10 students of MDS Public School got selected in KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna).
An integrated program at MDS proved its strength yet again as students were groomed and motivated well in their classes. Of the 10 students, 3 of Class 11th, viz. Keerti Harpawat, Kalpit Veerval and Kalpit Kothari are the only selections from Udaipur. 7 students, viz. Mukul Jain, Kalp Jain, Adit Mittal, Sourabh Varma, Kanishk Samariya, Akshat Vijayvargiya and Rahil Sanwala are in Class 12th.
This is a remarkable achievement as Std XII MDSians produced 100% success rate in this exam. All those who were selected in Stage-1 got through the interview state and finally qualified for KVPY scholarship program where they shall be receiving Rs 4000-7000/- scholarship till their post graduation.
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director-MDS and Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari Principal-MDS congratulated the students. Dr. Somani encouraged the students for the upcoming IIT-JEE examination.
