The famous play “Maa Muje Tagore Bana De” was showed today at MDS School. The touching mono drama enthralled the students which showed journey of a young boy’s struggle to get education and value of a teacher.

The famous play “Maa Muje Tagore Bana De” was showed today at MDS School. The touching mono drama enthralled the students which showed journey of a young boy’s struggle to get education and value of a teacher.

The play was presented by Lucky Gupta, a theatre artist and director, Ranglok Theatre, Jammu. This was Lucky Gupta’s 337th presentation of the play. He showcased the play in 105 cities of 19 states across the country.

The play is inspired from a Punjabi Story, replicating a common yet intense issue of degrading quality of teachers, showing daily life of a student and his problem.

In words of Lucky Gupta, “The play requires involvement of audience, especially youths. The play focuses majorly on the youth of the society and the teachers and their involvement gives energy to perform better and better.”

Dr. Shailendra Somani of MDS said that the play was an eye opener for students to learn the value of education, ethics and relationship of a student and teacher.

“The play had blend of both emotional and hilarious instances” said Dr. Somani.
