In the 1st Mewar Sahodaya Cricket Tournament, organised by Maharana Mewar Public School, MDS School defeated St. Anthony School by 8 wickets and won the trophy.

MDS School in quarter final defeated Central Public School with 6 wickets and in semi final match between DPS and MDS, the latter won by 90 runs and secured a place in the finals.

In the final match between MDS and St. Anthony School, MDS won the toss and elected to field. The team of St. Anthony in the first innings made 101 runs. In response, MDS defeated the team in the 19th over in which Ronak Jain (50) and Rahul Jadon (37) helped in the victory.

After the victory, Dr. Shailendra Somanii, Director of MDS reached the ground and congratulated the entire team.
