MMPS Students Win Second Prize at National level for Science Project

The 3 member team of students from Maharana Mewar Public School awarded second position in the 21st National Children’s Science Congress held at Bhopal from 27th-31st December 2013.
Shefali Sethia, Heenal Seth and Tanishka Trigar were the team from MMPS that participated in the Congress where students from schools of different States of India; ASEAN Countries and the United Arab Emirates presented an overwhelming 664 Projects.
The MMPS team project was a Solar Water Heater cum Room Heater. The heater, which could be used either as a Water Heater or as a simple Room Heater, was powered by Solar Energy. The six member judges panel appreciated the project and awarded it the second best in the lot of 664 projects.
Dr. Madhubala Purohit, who acted as the guide to the students for this project was also awarded by the panel, where they were given Gold Medals, a Trophy and a Certificate.
