The Under-19 team of St Anthony School left for Amritsar to take part in the CBSE National Chess Tournament. The event is going to be held in D.A.V School, Amritsar from 18th-23rd November.

William D’ Souza, principal of the school informed that many schools across the country are going to take part in the tournament. Even the teams from U.A.E’s CBSE affiliated schools are also going to participate in the tournament.

Under the direction of Coach Vikas Sahu, the team is consisting of Mudit Babel (captain), Nikhil Yadav, Yugansh Shukla, Manthan Chittora and Kushal Patel.

St Anthony has qualified in CBSE West Zone Tournament held in Raipur.
