National Sports Day was celebrated with great gusto and enthusiasm at Seedling Modern Public School, which inculcated importance of sports and games in a student’s life. 

Assembly began with a power packed dance performance, which showed the zest and energy of sports lovers in the country followed by an informative speech by Head Boy Aadarsh Kataria. An enactment inspired by the life of the captain of Indian Hockey – Sandeep Singh was beautifully staged by the students of Class XI & XII.

This short skit deeply inspired students as it described the determination, zeal and perseverance of the captain of the Indian Hockey team. The program concluded with motivational and inspiring words of Director – Hardeep Bakshi. He encouraged the students to keep aside their fears and complexes in life, and move ahead towards the goals that they have chosen for themselves.

The assembly was educative and gave a message of sportsmanship and hard work in every phase of life.
