Wonder Cement’s Patni Public School regularly organizes various international activities for the welfare of the students as a part of International School Award Program. Recently the school conducted activities on ‘Natural Calamities around the World’. The activities aim to enable learners to respond appropriately during various natural disasters, learn about disaster in various countries around the world and respond appropriately to disaster alarms and calamity situations.

The school organised a special assembly on Fire Safety and First Aid Techniques. Girish Babu M M, School Principal, inaugurated the event with his speech where he highlighted various calamities around the world and the need for school disaster management plan.

In a session conducted by Onkarnath Videkar, the principles of first aid, bandaging, stretchers , methods of lifting the patients and CPR (Artificial Breathing Techniques) were demonstrated. Students from grade 5^th were selected for the demonstrations while students from grade 8^th and 11^th were the volunteers.

Finally towards the end of the program, the school disaster management audit was presented by Archana Singh while training session and mock drill was conducted in coordination with Bhanwar Pal Singh and Mahavir Singh from Security and Fire department of Wonder Cement Ltd.
