Seedling Modern Public School’s High School and Nursery Branch celebrated the 69th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The programme commemorated with the hoisting of the flag by Revered Director Hardeep Bakshi followed by cultural programmes.

To salute the unsung heroes an Intra Class Hindi Patriotic Recitation competition was held in which tiny tots of grade I to III exhibited their feelings of patriotism by reciting poems on the topics like “Veer Tum Badhe Chalo”, “Aaj Tiranga Faila”, “Arman”, “Bharat Mahaan Banega” etc.

The winners of this competition were classes I A, II A and III B whereas second position was secured by classes I C, II B and III C respectively.

The students of grade X presented a spectacular enactment on the life of freedom fighter and activist Subhash Chandra Bose. The school choir sang patriotic songs in full spirit and gusto as the patriotic aura could be felt by everyone present over there whereas the students of middle and senior section showcased mesmerizing dance performances.

Spirit of serving the nation was clearly bulging out through poems and speeches of students. At last Director Hardeep Bakshi congratulated the students as well as teachers and motivated with his jewels of wisdom.
