Major Dheeraj Jodha addressed the students in a very interactive way. He told the students that he is an old student of The Study from Nursery to Class 12 (2007). According to him, he was an average student but participated in almost all the scholastic and co-scholastic activities. He was Captain of the Blue House in the school.

He encouraged the students to set their aim and then work towards it. Major Jodha asked the students and staff to raise their hands if they have heard of or remember Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan or Vijay Salasar; very few hands were raised.

Then he asked who was Kasab and the entire audience seemed to know! Thereby making his point that hardly any one remembers the martyrs of 26/11 but more that 90% know the terrorist, isn’t this a big question mark on the society?

He ended his speech by paying tribute to Maj Archit Verdia another old student of The Study, who made the supreme sacrifice to protect his motherland.

Jai Singh, Acting Principal, gave the vote of thanks.
