Rockwoods High School commenced ‘Mile Stone’ at school premises based on the theme –Why it Happens? through which students demonstrated the practical implication of Science.

Rockwoods High School commenced ‘Mile Stone’ at school premises based on the theme –Why it Happens? through which students demonstrated the practical implication of Science.

Principal Geeta Nayar said that the two day event encompassed students of classes 5th to 10th on the first day who demonstrated the process of respiration system, digestion system and circulatory system. Also, models were constructed which explained animal cells, plant cells, water circulation in cells, and transpiration etc.

Various subjects of Physics was displayed which included convex mirror, concave mirror, working of windmill, robot cleaner, working of motor boat and much more. Along with them, emphasis was made on various sources of energy, food conservation, solar cooker, green house gases and their effect etc.

The junior category students from Nursery to class forth gave information through models. The event was adjudged by Dr. Devendra Singh Sisodia and Dr. Kavita Jain.
