As a stepping stone towards excellence in education ,under the guidance of our Chairman Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto, The Ryan International Group Of Institution is proud to host the prestigious World Scholars Cup – India Round, with the theme “A World in Flux”, on 17^th & 18^th of Dec.

The World Scholar’s Cup is a global co-curricular enrichment activity for school students. The event endeavors to enhance the general knowledge quotient of the participants, as they compete with each other on the topics of literature, science and bio-technology, art, music and history.

Over 500 students from over 40 schools all over India will be participating in this Literary Extravaganza, where students will be provided opportunities to practice team work, to connect to diverse disciplines and discover and display their skills and strengths by participating in events, like team debate, persuasive writing, scholars challenge and scholars bowl.

The event is an endeavor towards holistic development of a child in this global village, as it inculcates in them skills of reasoning, strategizing, team spirit, confidence in public speaking and much more.

This enriching experience will be an experience of a lifetime for the children as they collaborate with their team mates across the nation and build inter and intra personal skills that are inevitable to be a successful person in this fast pace learner’s environment.

The students will be felicitated for their excellence in performance as overall champions in the junior and senior category and as best teams for persuasive writing, scholars challenge, team debate and scholar’s bowl. Individual efforts will also be appreciated where in 6 students, out of the entire group, will be facilitated for ‘best overall performance by a student’.

Even though there are prizes for the winners of the various activities, but each individual would be an achiever at the commencement of the event as each participant would surely emerge as a better speaker, better thinker and a better Scholar.

The ceremony will be graced by Ms. Anju Banerjee, Chairperson and Managing Director, EdCIL (India) Limited and Ms. Sara Deverall, Country Exam Director, British Council, India. Their encouragement and gracious presence will inspire children to give their best, even more.

The event will be organized under the guidance of its honorable Managing Director, Madam Grace Pinto. Quoting her golden words, she says, “This event will provide to the children, ample opportunities to develop team work, research, public speaking, time management and collaboration, in a cross cultural environment that would make the experience unforgettable for a life time”.

She also said that everyone is a scholar within themselves; this platform will allow them to derive more skills and hone their talents. She mentions that the Ryan group considers itself fortunate of being able to organize the World Scholar’s Cup, the only event of this genre and of this magnitude, for the first time in India and urges the children to make the most of this opportunity.
