Various schools across Udaipur celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan during which the students tied the festive thread on each other’s wrists and enjoyed the day with full enthusiasm.

Aishwarya Public School celebrated Rakhi on 28th August in which the toddlers were told about the importance of the day.

At Witty International School, Rakhi making activity was conducted yesterday for the students of classes’ I-III. Through this activity they were told about the significance of the festival Raksha Bandhan. Also, the toddlers of pre-primary section came beautifully dressed in traditional attire and enjoyed decorating the Thali, gift wrapping and sang songs.

Parent’s Pride unit of Central Academy School on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan celebrated Rakhi where the girls tied Rakhi on the wrists of boys, offered them sweets and applied tilak on their forehead. The school administration also organized Hindi recitation competition based on various themes.

Later, the principal Mansi Tikku explained the importance of Raksha Bandhan to children and gave them blessings.
