Guru Purnima is celebrated in the month of  Shravan every year to pay respect to the teachers, Gurus who are the mentors and guides of the students.The word Guru is derived from two words ‘gu’ and ‘ru’. The Sanskrit root word gu means darkness of our ignorance and ru denotes the removal of this darkness. Seedling Modern Public School celebrated Guru Purnima on 19^th July 2016 with great enthusiasm.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp and garlanding the idol of Goddess Saraswati by the Director and the members of the Management Committee. The students welcomed their Gurus by applying tilak and offering sweets to them. They presented a beautiful  programme in their honour. Director Mr. Hardeep Bakshi and Principal Ms Keerti Maken conveyed their warm wishes to all the teachers on this occasion.
