On 8 th October 2016, Seedling Modern Public School celebrated the auspicious festival of Navratri and Dusshera with great enthusiasm and reverence.

Dusshera is the culmination of Navratri observed for nine days and symbolises the victory of good over the evil. Students of grades V to X witnessed and presented a wonderful assembly. An informative talk and a mesmerising dance performance was given by students of grades IX and X on the theme of Navratri.

The dance displayed all the nine forms of Goddess Durga worshipped during the Navratri. The little Seedlites of classes I to III were looking fabulous dressed in traditional Garba attire and performed the traditional Dandiya dance of Gujarat.

The colossal of Ravana was burnt to commemorate the triumph of good over evil. At last the Director of the school Mr. Hardeep Bakshi addressed the assembly and advised the children to have a safe and eco-friendly Diwali.
