Every year, World Health Day is celebrated on 7 April as a global health awareness day under the sponsorship of WHO, with a clear ambitious vision: a world in which all people enjoy the highest attainable standards of health.

The theme of the year as it says, “Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere emphasise on the fact that everyone who needs healthcare services should get it irrespective of their financial status.

Health is the most important aspect of one’s life, in fact our existence depends on our health and well being. Keeping this healthy aspect in mind, students of Seedling school, in Udaipur were exposed to multiple activities, viz. Kid Fit Program, Run For Health, Yoga Session, Scrap File Activity, Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Quiz, etc right from Grade I till VIII.

The day was dedicated to spreading awareness and importance of health and wellness as there is nothing more important than our health – an asset for our country and countrymen.

Students of Seedling Nursery also participated with enthusiasm in a similar event held at the Seedling Nursery premises.  To create awareness among the little ones, Seedling Nursery organized a health awareness talk in assembly to sensitize the students about the importance of healthy diet, hygienic measures to prevent infection, such as washing hands, bathing , brushing , wearing clean clothes & clean surroundings. The children participated and enjoyed doing yoga. They were given snazzy pee caps as gifts.
