Sweet Sixteen – Seedling Udaipur turns 16 and the celebrations with the 16th edition of the Schools Annual Function is dedicated to the Freedom movement of India.

At the 16th Annual Function to be held at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal on 11th November, the theme will be “Freedom” and the occasion will be graced by the presence of Divisional Commissioner Bhawani Singh Detha as chief guest and Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Deepak Rampal, as special guest for the evening.

The theme ‘Freedom’ highlights the real meaning of freedom – not to misuse it or take undue advantage of it, rather it means to work with togetherness and co-operation for the betterment and upliftment of every individual as well as the nation.

The students are going to enact the roles of great freedom fighters like Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Laxmi Bai, Mangal Pandey, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Raj Guru and Sukhdev who played an exemplary role in the history of India’s freedom movement.  Students are going to showcase dance performances like ‘Satyagraha’, ‘Rang de Basanti’, ‘Chak de India’, etc.

The meritorious students in sports, academics and co-curricular activities will also be felicitated.
