Grade-1 children at Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated Father’s Day on 23rd June 2015 the first day os school after the culmination of the Summer break.

As per Principal Subha Govil, this was a time for the students to honour and express their love for their father.  Children joined their father in the celebration of the occasion and to foster the importance of Dad in their life.

The program was arranged in a very informal manner. Various games were arranged for the fathers and children. Children exchanged their emotions ( I Love Dad ) through a jigsaw puzzle game.

Also, parents had a hilarious time trying to recognize their child while blindfolded. Parents reciprocated their feelings by singing songs for their children.

The program concluded on a high tempo where all the children, parents and teachers danced to some energetic songs. All the parents especially dads showed high enthusiasm in participating in the entire program.

WIS expresses its gratitude to all fathers and strongly agree that “Any Man can be a father….but it takes someone special to be a DAD”.
