Ambedkar Jayanti and Gangaur were celebrated at DPS, Udaipur premises today in the form of a special assembly conducted by students of class X A.

The assembly started with a prayer followed by an inspirational thought and current updates around the world.

The speech by Yashna and Anshul informed the gathering about the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in making the constitution of our country. A small skit beautifully brought forth the humiliation faced by Dr. Ambedkar in his childhood days as an untouchable but how he made this a weapon and devoted himself to studies to fight the injustice.

The patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’ instill in all a feeling of nationalism and patriotism. The class teacher also participated in the assembly and informed about the importance of Gangaur.

A mesmerizing dance performance by the girls highlighted the significance of the festival. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
