St Anthony’s Senior Secondary School has announced its team to represent CBSE West Zone Chess Tournament which is going to start from 9^th Oct at Academic Heights Public School, Raipur, Chattisgarh.

School Principal William D’souza informed, “Team of St. Anthony is divided into two age categories.”

In under-19, Mudit Babel (captain), Nikhil Yadav, Yugansh Shukla, Manthan Chittora and Kushal Patel while in under-14, Kunal Chabra, Divyanshu Babel, Vandan Lodha, Devansh Chechani and Aplesh Patni will participate.

Vikas Sahu will be the team manager and coach. Teams from 9 states are going to take part in this tournament. D’Souza informed that St. Anthony’s team had won second position in 2009.
