St. Anthony’s School has announced the name of its students who are going to take part in the upcoming CBSE West Zone Chess Tournament in Baroda.

Team of 18 students who will play in age groups of under-19 and under-14 was declared by Pincipal William D’Souza. The team is prepared under their trainer Vikas Sahu.

Tournament will be held from 12-17 October in Baroda’s Urmi School. Students from 9 states will take part in the tournament. In year 2009, team of St. Anthony’s School was qualified as first runner up of the tournament.
