St. Paul's students dominate District Level Sports

St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School has closely dominated the 58th District Level Sports Tournaments which were held at different venues in the district. St. Paul’s students have received victory in several games including Badminton, Football, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Gymnastics.

St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School has closely dominated the 58th District Level Sports Tournaments which were held at different venues in the district. St. Paul’s students have received victory in several games including Badminton, Football, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Gymnastics.

Father George V.J. Principal of the school informed that school’s badminton and football teams (under 17) got first place and in doubles category of table tennis and lawn tennis (under 14) St. Paul’s stood first. In gymnastics, school’s Raj Kumawat has won gold medal in individual category. Table tennis team managed to get second place in doubles while in badminton (under 19) St Paul’s got third position.

An outstanding performance was exhibited by the students in individual category. In Badminton, Harsh Chaplot and Amisha Gadwal (under-14) and Parth Mehta (under-17) grabbed first position.

In swimming, Tejendra Singh (under-14) received 2nd prize in 50, 100 and 200 meter freestyle competitions. Divyadev Singh managed to get second position in 50 meter butterfly, 200 meter IM and third position in 50 meter backstroke. Krishanveer Singh got third place in 50 meter freestyle, relay team of school got third place.

In under-19 category, Puranjay Singh topped in 50 and 100 meter backstroke and in 200 meter medley. Nitin Bisht got first position in 100 meter freestyle and second and third place in 200 and 50 meter freestyle respectively.

Yuvraj Singh got first place in under-17 race of 100 meter breaststroke and second place in 50 meter breaststroke. Rajat Talesra won first prize in 400 meter free style.
