Students of The Study express their thoughts on Child Care with Khushi
The Study was one of the 10 schools that participated in the event, which was primarily held to spread awareness on child care. Students participating in the event were asked to paint around child care themes, viz. Child Abuse, Child Malnutrition, Child Marriage, Child Trafficking, Child Labour, Save the Girl Child, Child Education and Child Beggary
Students of The Study School, Udaipur participated in the Khushi Creative Workshop. This awareness campaign was organized by Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with UdaipurTimes.com on 23 November.
The Study was one of the 10 schools that participated in the event, which was primarily held to spread awareness on child care. Students participating in the event were asked to paint around child care themes, viz. Child Abuse, Child Malnutrition, Child Marriage, Child Trafficking, Child Labour, Save the Girl Child, Child Education and Child Beggary.
8 students participated from The Study in the painting workshop, which took place from 9:30AM till 12:30PM and took all pains to express their feelings and thoughts in the form of colored canvas. The students, each painting on different themes, held the visitors and judges in awe with their understanding of the subject.
The students painting the themes included Misbah Khan of class 9, who worked on “Save the Girl Child”; Gaurang Shekhar Tiwari of class 9 who painted on Child Labor, Ayeen Sheikh of class 9 too, who expressed her feelings on Child Malnutrition, Khushi Surana of Class 8 who chose to work on Child Abuse, Nupoor Purohit, Samar Pratap Singh and Rahul Meena, all of Class 7 who worked on Child Trafficking, Child Beggary and Child Marriage respectively and Lakshya Soni of class 6 who drew on Child Education.
A group of 10 students, further added more color and enjoyment to the proceedings as they performed a skit outside the allotted painting tent at Fatehpura circle – they included Mehul Kumar, Ishika Shrimali, Rishita Chandwani, Manav Madhwani, Khushi Sarnot, Rishabh Paliwal, Kriti Sikligar, Zainab Sanwarwala, Animesh Jat and Harshwardhan Suthar.
Gajendra Singh, Art and Craft Teacher and Rachita Bafna Administrator, accompanied the students on their day out with Khushi.
Refreshments and other facilities like painting canvas, acrylic colors, paint brushes, etc were made available to the children. Jury members were in awe of the efforts and thought process demonstrated by the students.
