The birth anniversary of Dr. Radhkrishna is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India. The day was celebrated with zeal and zest at DPS, Udaipur on 4th September 2015 with the students council putting up a great show to pay respect to the teachers.

The programme started with auspicious lamp lighting and vandana. The council member washed the Principal’s feet to pay their tribute. A skit depicting the significance role of teacher in one’s life was showcased by the students of class XI. The dance performance by Pre-primary kids mesmerized all and everyone started dancing at their place.

All the teachers were called on stage in five rounds and were felicitated with a card and bouquet. The students of primary section presented a foot tapping performance to show their gratitude to their teachers.

The programme moved on with melodious number dedicated to the teachers by the students of classes IX & X. The girls of class VIII raised the stage by their enchanting performance. The event moved on with energetic and vibrant performance by the students of class XII and Boarding House.

The programme culminated with a mega dance performance by class XII students and felicitated of the Principal, Neeru Tandon, Vice-Principal, Yogesh Jain, Headmaster, Rajesh Dhabhai and Headmistress, Animikha Roy. The Principal blessed the students and thanked the student council for putting up a great show.
