Teachers honored at MDS
M.D.S. School, Sector 3 and Pratap nagar celebrated Teacher’s Day with enthusiasm and vigor. On this occasion, both teachers and students were honored.

On the function many colorful cultural presentations were put up. It started with lighting the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati’s idol, who was the Hindu Goddess of knowledge and music by school’s trustee Pushpa Somani and Principal Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari. The day was celebrated by honoring Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by garlanding his picture.
The chief guests of the occasion were Dr. B.P. Bhatnagar, Dinesh Chordia, R.C. Somani, Pushpa Somani (Trustee, MDS) and Sudershan Mineral’s Chairman Rajendra Prasad Gupta.
M.D.S. School’s teachers Dr. Pramila Chittora and Ghanshyam Prajapat were honored with citation for achieving great heights in the field of education. Students Prabhav Maheshwari was honored for achieving state level recognition in chess and Rishika Intodia for becoming the youngest dancer to learn Bhavai dance form.
Students from class I to class XII gave wonderful performances which included dance performances, group song, acts and solo song. The function was started by Ganesh Vandana performed by class Vth student Shreshtha Maheshwari and a class IXth student gave a dance performance.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a speech denoting the importance of teachers in our life by Trustee Pushpa Somani.
