Grade IV students of The Junior Study had a fun filled Friday as they experienced an innovative approach to learn. School has organized a special ‘Shopping Experience’ for kids.

Informing about the new teaching method, Asha Singh, Principal, The Junior Study said, “As young children learn by imagining and doing, we asked them to pretend-play shopping and shop keeping.”

“It was great fun to see the children writing down their shopping lists, checking their money to see if the budget was enough for what they wanted to buy, see them roaming around the play store, have them weight their vegetables and using their inter-personal skills when speaking with the store assistant and finally paying for their shopping”.

“They learned new skills without even knowing it as it was all hidden in as a play. The ‘shopping experience’ was a success and we are looking forward to having more classes like this in the near future.”
