The Junior Study children of classes I to V had their Annual Exhibition on Sunday 14th. Several hours were spent to put together the amazing show. This year’s topic was sports.

Sport is very important for everyone, especially children. Physical activity stimulates growth and leads to improved physical and emotional health. It contributes to a child’s development both psychologically and socially. Sport is also an important learning environment for children.

Parents were welcomed with a beautiful welcome song that was sung by a choir. Children showed their skills in indigenous dances (Bihu, Odissi, Kalbelia and Bhangra), cricket, kabaddi, kho kho and football.

In the classrooms they presented charts and models, and also a PowerPoint presentation was put together to teach about field hockey. It was great to see the smiley faces of the children and the confidence they showed when presenting. Also parents were proud of their children’s achievements and the show that was put together.
